Stars In Your Eyes
by Fran Rosen
If you have a Virgo close to you, you have a pretty good idea how nitpicky they can be. Ever get up in the morning to the sweet sound of Virgo nagging you? Come on, admit it, you'd miss it if it wasn't there! Although at times it can be irritating, Virgo's best trait is attention to details. Don't think you can tell a Virgo one thing today and in two weeks change your story. They will remember each detail and you will be caught with your pants down, so to speak.
They follow Leo, one of the zodiac's most egotistic signs (along with Aquarius and Sag), and they compensate for all of Leo's showiness by developing humility. They are an earth sign, which means they approach life practically. They want to know if something will work before they decide it's a good idea, unlike Gemini who gets caught up in the idea and could care less whether it works. Their nature is flexible, but they expect the world to be flexible, too, and will spend a great deal of time trying to set things in order, and then when they find flaws, trying to fix those flaws.
You might think Virgos are fanatics who scream with dismay if you leave your underwear on the living room floor. That's a possibility, but as often as not they are not fastidious housekeepers. There is, however, always at least one area where Virgos are fanatic about order. The problem with those Virgos who are perfectionists in many areas of life is that when they can't live up to their own expectations, they give up completely and don't bother to keep that area in order at all.
If you're close to a Virgo, give them massages often. They worry constantly and really need to learn to relax. And besides, they are a sensual earth sign and that massage will get their mind off whatever project they're working on and put it squarely on you.
In the Tarot deck, the sign of Virgo is symbolized by "The Hermit" card. The Hermit has attained the summit of a mountain and is lighting the way for all those who follow. He is a teacher. He has mastered his art or his science, and he is willing to share the information for those

who follow. It is also a card of patience and the need to take time to really ponder the question involved.
Although Virgo is known Astrologically as the sign of the Virgin, the word Virgin used to mean a woman without a permanent man, not a woman who is innocent. Virgo is by no means normally promiscuous, but it is not normally celibate either.
When looking for a potential lover, Virgo should keep these things in mind: With ARIES, Virgo should keep looking. Aries' inattention to detail and tendency to never complete anything will drive you to distraction. Besides, you may find their uninhibited sexual appetites distasteful.
With TAURUS, settle down. Taurus will keep the home fires burning while you're out working hard. They are stable and will be soothing to your frazzled Virgo nerves. And, besides, they are the world's best lovers (don't tell Scorpio I said that).
With GEMINI, the exchange of ideas can be non-stop, but when it comes to getting down to business and doing something, you'll probably find yourself doing it alone. Sexually, you might wish they would use their mouth for something other than chattering.
With CANCER, you will want to cook
-
gourmet meals. Cancer loves to ea! food and you -and will make any place you live cozy. They are sensitive and caring, especially when they get over their initial insecurity. Buy a water bed.
With LEO, say hello to them at a party and then keep walking. Unless you were born with a lot of Leo planets in your chart, you will be turned off by Leo's large ego. Sexually, there may be too much show and not enough substance to satisfy you.
With another VIRGO, make sure you both aren't worrying at the same time. Two people of the same sign can either have a wonderful relationship or a horrible relationship, with rarely something in between. There is a tendency to see your own negative traits in your partner and it can make you feel like you are continually being forced to deal with your personal flaws. However, sexually you may know exactly what the other one enjoys. There are compensations.
With LIBRA you may have trouble understanding their preoccupation with the social side of life. To you, work is extremely important, while Libra places its importance on its relationships. Sexually, Libra isn't earthy enough for and you will get quite irritated when they suggest you are mussing their hair. Continued on Page 14
